Interesting Read: Albert Einstein's Proof that God can exist

ust a fun cool little story I thought you all might enjoy and be encouraged by Einsteins use of logic to proof that God can exist, be Perfectly Loving, and there be evil in the world.... :)   An atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand. 'You're a Christian, aren't you, son?'  'Yes sir,' the student says.  'So you believe in God?'  'Absolutely. '  'Is God good?' 'Sure! God's good.'  'Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?'  'Yes'  'Are you good or evil?'  'The Bible says I'm evil.'  The professor grins knowingly. 'Aha! The Bible! He considers for a moment. 'Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?'  'Yes sir, I would.'  'So you're good...!'  'I wouldn't s...

Who is God?

God is the creator of mankind and He loves you. You were created by Him and He knows everything about you. You were made to have a relationship with God. We were created to have a relationship with God. But that relationship was broken when we disobeyed God. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 God is perfect, we are not. Since perfection is unobtainable for us that made God unobtainable. Sin separates us from God. Since God is the source of life separation from Him means death. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 Jesus came to save us. God fixed this and He sent His Son in order to pay the penalty for our sins. Now through faith in Jesus Christ our relationship with God can be restored. Our sins can be forgiven and we can have eternal life. I believe, but now what? The forgiveness of sins is not by works, it is a free gift based on what Jesus did for us. ...

Is God Real? How do we know that?

In short, yes, God is absolutely real; you can be sure of that. But how? How can you really be sure? The answer is so simple, and yet so awesome that it will change your life. Allow me to explain. First, let’s start out on a firm foundation by agreeing on this following, immutable truth: It’s impossible to disprove that God is real. I say again, to be crystal clear on this – there is no way, no how, no possibility that anyone who has ever lived on the earth can or could ever prove that God  doesn’t  exist. This is so obvious, but it’s a critical starting point. I hope that’s obvious, but if you’re not 100%, then stop and think about it. How could anyone ever truly  know  that God  doesn’t  exist? You see, paradoxically, the only way to surmise that God isn’t real, would as a necessity,  validate  His existence. Otherwise put, what I mean to say by this statement is tha...

A Loving God Would Not Send Billions of People to Hell, Would He?

Image
Introduction Atheists often claim that Christianity could not be true because a loving God 1  would not send billions of people to hell. 2  Although this seems logically valid at first glance, it makes some assumptions that are not true for the God of the Bible. Many atheists claim that those who have never heard of Jesus Christ should not be forced to go to hell. This issue is dealt with in depth on  another page . True love is not permissive The first false assumption is that love allows the object of that love to do whatever he or she wants. However, this permissive kind of "love" isn't really love at all. Any of you who are parents will recognize that allowing your children to do whatever they want to do is not loving at all. If you were to do this, your children would grow up to be spoiled selfish brats, incapable of loving other people.  Permissive gods , who are caught up in their own intrigues, and so allow humans to do whatever they want without re...

Did God Create Evil - Does the Bible Say So?

Image
Introduction One of the most common reasons skeptics reject the existence of God is due to the presence of evil in this universe. They reason that a perfect God would not create a universe in which evil exists. Skeptics claim that since God created everything that God must have also created evil. They even cite Bible verses, such as: I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. ( Isaiah 45:7, KJV ) Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? ( Amos 3:6, KJV ) Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good? ( Lamentations 3:38 ) However, evil is not really a created thing. You can't see, touch, feel, smell or hear evil. It is not one of the fundamental forces of physics, nor does it consist of matter, energy, or the spatial dimensions of the universe. Still, skeptics like to claim that God created evil and cite th...

There is Too Much Evil and Suffering For God to Exist?

Image
Introduction Purpose of Evil? Most atheists assume that a personal God would only create a universe that is both good morally and perfect physically. However, according to Christianity, the purpose of the universe is not to be morally or physically perfect, but to provide a place where spiritual creatures can choose to love or reject God - to live with Him forever in a new, perfect universe, or reject Him and live apart from Him for eternity. It would not be possible to make this choice in a universe in which all moral choices are restricted to only good choices. One cannot choose between good and bad if bad did not exist. It's an amazing simple logical principle. Rich Deem Atheists often claim that the presence of evil is an argument against the existence of God. The Christian God is supposed to be both loving and all-powerful. Despite these characteristics, God seems to be unable or unwilling to prevent the vast amount of evil and suffering in the world. The ath...
